Here is a tutorial for our mods we upload. This guide will not show you how to make mods in blender or anything similar. It is just for people who don't know how to add them into the game. This guide is recommended for people who know how to save edit. If you don't know how to save edit, then you can find many guides on YouTube.
You need these Files in order to local mod: |

1. You download the file and open it with WinRar or 7zip.
2. Now you go back in the discord and look in the message. You looking in the path for your mail_ctrl. In there you can see where you have to put the folder you downloaded in. Note: The Folder is always after /home in the path.
3. Now you go in your Documents and then in your Euro Truck Simulator 2 Folder. In there you create the new folder with the same name as the folder in the path earlier.
4. In there you drag and drop the folder (The folder inside of the WinRar File) in.
5. Now you go back to your Euro Truck Simulator 2 Documents and open the game.sii of your profile.
6. Now after you opened the game.sii you search for mail_ctrl.
Your mail_ctrl should look similar to this. It depends on how many emails you have in your game.
7. Now you create a new inbox. The name of the inbox can be named anything, you just need to remember it for later.
As you can see on my mail_ctrl, i named my toplights like this.
8. Now you create a new accessory hookup data under your mail_ctrl. As you can see there you need to use the same name as this from your mail_ctrl. In my case its toplight.addon_hookup. After this you need to rewrite your model path. Now you need to copy-paste the path from the message where you can download the mod. Its the same path as you used in step 2.

9. Now you go to your truck and add the new accessory to it. You can either search for your license plate or search for *my_truck* and copy the nameless and search it again.
Most of the time you can find the accessory where it is connected in the same message. If now you need to search for it. Its always standing somewhere in the message! -> There are at least some pictures where it is connected.
Note: You need to use the SAME name in your accessory as you used in your mail_ctrl.
After you did everything right you should be able to see your mod. In my case there are some cool toplights.

Please also note that you can NOT click on your emails ingame after you did this. Your game will crash and with this been said, have fun with the mods and again, as i said, feel free to open a ModMail ticket if you have any questions or problems.
